Our Masterworks Edition metal prints should be considered fragile fine art. A protective laminate has been applied to the print surface, however extreme caution should be used whenever it is necessary to clean the surface of your print. Per the manufacturer’s instructions, dust the picture glazing with a soft, damp cloth or chamois. Apply only light pressure, rinse with clean water, and dry by blotting the cloth. Dry or gritty cloths may cause surface scratches and create a static electric charge on the surface. Do not use window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents such as acetone, gasoline, or lacquer thinner to clean your image, as this may cause permanent damage to your image. 

Paper prints are delicate fine art products and should be handled with care until framed behind a protective clear surface such as glass or acrylic. Use cotton gloves to protect from skin oils and keep away from direct sunlight. Improper handling can result in creases, tears or stains that will negatively impact the appearance of your artwork.

Metal prints are sturdy and do not require framing, however they can easily be damaged by improper handling. Metal print surfaces are shipped with a protective film that is to be removed prior to display. This laminate provides some protection from scratches but the print should be handled with care at all times. The best protection is proper mounting and display on a wall.

Our Masterwork Edition metal prints do not require framing, saving you hundreds of dollars in framing costs. However any print can be custom framed by a professional picture frame specialist should you desire it.

Your Masterwork Edition metal print has been shipped with the appropriate hanging equipment already attached to the back of the frame. Picture hangers and/or wall anchors are recommended but are not included with your purchase as we are not aware of how and where you wish to mount your photograph. Hanging instructions are included in our shipping packages.

Framed paper prints and posters should be hung with appropriate anchors depending on the weight and size of the final product. Consult your picture frame specialist for proper hanging instructions.

Lighting your image properly is important to achieving the full brilliance and colors possible from our Masterwork Edition prints. Our prints use a silver halide emulsion that responds best to good lighting. It is best to seek the advice of an electrician or lighting professional to ensure the proper installation of lighting to complement your space. Use of warm lighing, natural light, or cool lighting will affect the appearance of your print in varying degrees. We recommed a natural daylight temperature for best results.
